Re: [orca-list] Orca with a window manager

I do not think it's possible. You need a desktop. The closest I've heard
to someone doing what you describe is using the Fluxbox window manager but,
even then, Orca did not perform as well as it did with a desktop system.
You can use LXDE or XFCE if you want a minimalist experience but, again, it
will not work as well as it does with Gnome. Such a thing is only possible
in theory.

Subject: [orca-list] Orca with a window manager

Hi,
I would to use Orca without Gnome interface. Because without Gnome, and just
a window manager - no desktop environment; orca doesn't work. So how can I
have a Orca working, without a desktop environment? With Gnome tools on
backend, but without environment modification- It's possible? How can I do
it?

Thanks in advance.
Libere,
Pascal Diogo Antunes.
