Arabic in my Text Editor

hi
i'm a c programmer
i'm trying to make it able to write in arabic letters
and they are written from right to left
and i've created the fonts.
i've created a font like trado.ttf of microsoft
i wanna from u sir an example
for how adding a button like XKB of KDE
in the toolbar of my text editor.
so it can switch between arabic & english languages
and this button contain there country flags.
please send me an example or help me.
