Sun translation content

Hi All,
We have a large amount of translation content from the Sun 2.0 release that we want to commit to CVS. In the past we have delivered into gnome-i18n and let the various language teams msgmerge content into the module working branches from there. However, I know that gnome-i18n was getting tiresomely sizable and going forward it might be a better idea if we had a separate module (sun-po? sun-i18n?) into which only our po content would go.
How does everyone feel about this or has anyone alternative suggestions?
