If we want to go with authentication and the ability for deletes and
such, then I think I will go ahead and use the project support built
into the SourceForge code. We can strip out all the stuff we don't need
and be left with a really nice way to make release announcements
(including changelogs), as well as listings of project members which
makes it clear who are project maintainers.

Rather than replace the applist with a quick hack that would only
improve browsing the list, I will start working on the previously
mentioned stuff. After all, if it's sucked for this long, how bad can a
little while longer be? :)

I'll get to coding now and let people know when I have something
useable.

Thanks for the responses.
