Yes.

I did take a look at the BZR stuff. IIRC it had some bad stuff, e.g.
calling programs by using a shell.

Yes. Just tell me when SVN is ready. Suggest to keep the current trunk
in a branch or something.

Inform them.. gnome-i18n gnome org  It will need to be listed in
damned-lies (not sure who is allowed to commit there.. check the docs or
have them do it).
