Get VNC and try it. To get it in GNOME, the things to do is to make
sure VNC server runs GNOME inside, and that X runs the VNC client (no
window manager, just the client) instead of GNOME.

It will suck, for example if you want to do 3D (no hardware accel),
but for offic tasks, it will work fine. It even allows you to view
your GNOME from Windows or Mac or any OS that has a VNC client.
