Well, i suppose you never close galeon during your gnome session (either
for freing memory, workspace or whatever), not to acount the times when
galeon crashes, but the session management for this is really already
there.

Also, imagine someone who never exits from his gnome session, but does
ocassionally exit galeon.

What is the problem with that ? You want to force users to have
everything managed by the gnome session, which in its current state does
not work all that well anyway, and don't understand, that even while
using gnome, the web browser is a separate app, and the sessions you use
in the galeon browser are not the same thing as the sessions you use in
gnome ?
