I find it odd that "Show icons in menus is selected, but there aer no
icons in the sample.  Possibly this is just a badly-designed theme,
and it's really not selected. In that case, I suggest
(*) Show icons in menus
( ) Show text in menus
( ) show both icons and text in menus
so that people can clearly tell which is selcted.
Or use the same treatment as, Button labels.

The Recent documents, can you put the numbers a bit closer to the
labels?  Right alignment would be appropriate here:

    Maxiumum number of items: 10
      Number of days to keep: 30
(if your mail reader has a fixed-width font, the colons and numbers will
line up here, one above the other)
