[Usability]gnome-terminal usability bug

I just submitted a bug to the bugzilla about a problem with
gnome-terminal that has been bothering me for quite some time and
couldn't find in the bugzilla.

The problem is when you open more than one tab and click focus to the
tab label you cannot click focus back to the console, you can only
switch between tabs. 

This is a usability bug so I wanted to get the opinion of the usability
experts. What do you think?
