Hi,

the checkboxes will appear if the "Display random screensavers" option
in advanced preferences is selected.

I not sure about that. Since it's instant apply the checkboxes would
appear as soon as the "random" option is checked in advanced prefs. It
would probably need to be reviewed if the new UI is usable.
