[Usability] Small UI review for the new menu bar layout

Hi guys,

I've some specific questions about the UI of the new menu bar layout
(but I'm sure you'll find some other problems):

  * I have the feeling that the items are not consistent when it comes
to ellipsis. For example, I'm not sure "Take Screenshot" should have
ellipsis, but I think "Search for Files" (I'm not sure what's the
english version of the label...) should.

  * I've added the "Connect to Server..." item in the places menu in CVS
HEAD. I know Bryan would like to relabel this item :-) The tooltip
("Connect to a remote server") and the icon should probably be replaced
too.

  * When there are more than 5 connected servers, the connected servers
appear in a submenu in order to not overload the places menu. So it
looks like:
...
---
Network Servers
Network Places >
Connect to Server...
---
...

The first question is: is this a good idea to have this submenu? I also
don't know what icon to use for this Network Places item. I first
thought about using gnome-fs-network, but "Network Servers" already use
this icon.

  * I have the same problem for the "Removable Media" submenu that
appears if you have more than 5 removable media connected. Any idea for
an icon?

Another problem is that the main menu layout should be updated to
provide the same possibilities as the menu bar. It should be done before
UI freeze, so I'll probably do it next week. If you have a proposition,
you can post it at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=163501

Thanks,

Vincent
