[Usability] links to GConf

Every time the big debate on options being removed
rears its head there's mention of GConf as an
alternative to set more advanced prefs, and then
someone compares it to Windows Registry.

I actually quite like GConf.
It comes with built-in documentation about the options
that is usually pretty good.

The downsides of it are:
* it's not entirely obvious where in the tree you
might find, say, the preferences for icons on the
desktop. (Hint: it's not under /desktop!)
* it's not easily discoverable if you're looking at a
prefs applet and scratching your head.

It's occurred to me that there is a simple solution to
both of these problems, but I'd like the usability
list's opinion on it before I file an enhancement in
bugzilla:
Add a button to the bottom of each prefs applet that
opens GConf at the relevant branch.

The problem with this is that it's the old "Advanced"
button. Is it opening a whole new can of worms?
