Re: [Usability] Gnome taskbar grouping annoyance

Hi:

I forgot to paste words into my last reply (Oops).

Hi, thx for the links.
I don't wirte codes and only use programs, so I probably won't be able to
apply those patches by myself (I use Ubuntu Fiesty btw). I did look into
those posts. The last comment of the first link was dated March 2005, so
I am not sure if those patches were already applied to the current sources.
If the patches were already applied, then it means that the the grouping
behaviour may still need some change or adjustment (althogh not everyone
may agree). If not, I would like to know if those patches would make the gnome
taskbar grouping behaviour to act like the way Windows taskbar does.

The second link seems to have something to with ability to group windows
manually. On Windows, I also use a program called "Task shuffle" to perform
such function. From reading the comments, it seems that manual regrouping
function would be found in the next release of Gnome (correct me if I am wrong).
