Hi!
Seems there was some announcement that GSoc 2010 has started (though I
haven't heard of it yet). I don't know either how many slots GNOME will
get this year and if anjuta will get slots at all.
Anyway, if you want to propose something, point out the following
points:
* What are you proposing exactly?
* What is the benefit of your proposal (might also be useful to compare
this to the roadmap goals (live.gnome.org/Anjuta/Roadmap)
* Why did you those to contribute to anjuta?
* What are your skills? What programming did you do before? Which
languages? Have you experience with GNOME/the GObject System?
Further, if you want to increase your chances it is appreciated (and may
at a later point be required like last year) that you contribute to
anjuta before GSoc. The easiest way is to fix bugs
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=anjuta). The GNOME Love
bugs are a good point to start but feel free to check anything else.
This will also make you familiar with the anjuta codebase.
I must admit that the proposals I have seen this year haven't convinced
me at all. Please take more care!
Happy hacking,
Johannes
