Dear Akhil and Bharath,
If we have a keynote conference room of 300 people plus 1 x track of 100
people, should we limit the registration quota of getting lunch coupons
to 400 or 500 people? What's the attendance rate after participants
registered online e.g. for foss.in? (there is always some people not
joining after registered, we also wasted a lot of food last year due to
over-estimate the attendance rate like 90%+ ).
One more thing, in order to attract sponsors, we also plan to print
conference bags (so sponsors can give away inserts / promotional
materials according to their package). Hence, let's start talking about
the quota for registration.
Thanks,
Pockey

I've already started the implementation updates for these items.
The only thing I could think of would be to move the Bio& Website /
Blog fields to a section that would only show up once their account has
been created. This way they never have those things show up if they
aren't necessary.
Sounds good :)
we can start talking about the capacity of the conference and
registration quota.

Dear Will,
What's the information we collected in 2008? Could you please send us
a template for reference and then we confirm / modify based on that
template?
The following people won't be necessary to pay:
Sponsors - depending on the level, they will have a certain number of
pass for their staff
Speakers and GNOME contributors - whose travel paid by the GNOME
Foundation (like us, the marketing, documentation, release teams plus
gnome 3.0 / shell developers)
Organizers, working team members and volunteers
Students of the university provided the venue for free
Yes, for payment, we decided to get the payment on site, please
generate a unique registration ID for on-site payment, thanks!

I need a finalized list of information we want collected when users
register for the conference. (surname, family name, email, phone?)
We also need to determine if we are going to generate a unique
registration id for on-site payment or if this will be done using paypal
or another payment gateway.
