I have the settings as shown in the 1st screenshot.
The data opens up as shown in the 2nd screenshot!

This is weird but I can manage to see stuff from the small display window at the bottom of the first screenshot and it seems like we have some nice submissions! Hang on.

Chandni,

I just downloaded  the csv from the site and opened it.  There are no problems viewing the csv file.   Can you send a screenshot or something of your opening settings?  I cannot reproduce the issue you are experiencing.

I can check the output filters when I get back to a computer..   For now you can log into the site to view the existing entries.

You should tell it the column separator is a comma,   not to separate by spaces. It sounds like you are  using the defaults.

Ok, so here, the problem seems that the text submitted is also consisting of commas which is making it split unintentionally across various columns.

I know that. I don't know maybe it's just for me but each word opens up in a separate column here.
Allan, please let us know if you are having any trouble with the document. If not can we hear your views about the submissions

Chandni,

What problems are you having reading  the csv file?

May I know which program do you use to open it in? I have getting it opened by default in LibreOffice Calc. Editor makes it worse.

Really, for the most up to date information on submissions it is best to get it directly from the site.

Ok, from updates of last meeting and mails, I see we are in the process of getting some cool sponsors including Mozilla, LWN and LinuxPlot
Lets have them updating on this page: https://live.gnome.org/GnomeAsia/2012Summit/EventSponsors as the progress moves on.
Haggen, I want you to create your account and a page (live.gnome.org/HaggenSo)  with your information on live.gnome.org. I want you to be a secondary contact for stuff.

I have this page created for keeping a track of summit activities which will eventually fit into the schedule:
https://live.gnome.org/GnomeAsia/2012Summit/ConferenceTopics
Haggen, again can you please follow up with Jon asking for the topic he would find best to give a talk on? You may ask him to add his name and idea on this page or pick an idea for himself from here. Also ask him to inform you about the topic for workshop.

Likewise, I want everyone here to add their name next to the idea which best appeals them.
Also, add yourselves in lightning talks page: https://live.gnome.org/GnomeAsia/2012Summit/LightningTalks

I require quick estimates of:

- number of students attending.
- total number of participants expected to attend the event.
- listing of media sponsors
- a listing of sponsors which have committed to sponsor the event

Sammy and Will: I went through the CSV which Will attached and couldn't make out anything from it.
Allan and me will give it a look if you could provide a comprehensible listing.

Regards,
