Max, thank you for being so prompt.

According to https://wiki.gnome.org/Travel/Policy

It's only GNOME Foundation members and GSOC, Outreachy participants
who can ask for travel allowance.

Am I getting this correctly ?

I have applied for GNOME Foundation membership although I'm doubtful
as while I have commented and reported bugs over the years, nothing in
the recent times so let's see.

I wished I could add something more to my application but after
application is filled, there doesn't seem to be a way.

Look forward to know if anybody knows something.
