Hi everyone, sorry for being absent for a little while.

The difficulty of threading is not insubstantial. However, libmutt does
have code to do this. OTOH, we hate libmutt :-). It's something I'll look
into after I finish the new balsa-init.c.

Multi-threading is good in a mail client; we want to navigate folders, 
retrieve mail, and decode attachments simultaneously. As has been posted on
this list we can use state machines and dispatch functions, but IMHO there's
a point where threading just works better.

As for "rapid CVS update" vs. "finished patch", I'd commit the code sooner...
CVS version is not going to be the prettiest, and just in case you drop off
the face of the earth again... :-)
