After this change:

        * src/save-restore.c: bug fix for remembering open mboxes

balsa segfaults if you remove (rename) your .balsarc file, go through all the
setup steps and click the "Finish" button. Apparently, PLSave() is called with a
malformed (?) proplist that contains NULL as the key (or value? I'm not sure at
the moment). I am unable to track the bug down in more detail because I'm too
unfamiliar with the codebase still.
