Hi, 

Are there some thread semaphores between the update stuff in the tree and the mailboxes ? Or any kind of thread sync ? 

It happens, from time to time, when I have more mailboxes open and I quit balsa, that balsa crashes.

Is there a way to influence when the update is done ? 

Or, are there other threads running in background ? or some timer events ?
