failing to lock mbox

hi,

i got the 0.9.2 source and compiled with treads and gtkhtml. but i have
a problems with the mailbox locking. if i want to check mail my maibox
(pop) all the checks after the first time will fail. with the following
error messages:

1) Error: Timeout exceeded while attempting flock lock!
2) Error: Couldn't lock /home/user/mbox
3) Error: Cannot open the temporary mailbox to spool POP3 messages:
"/home/user/mbox"

also the same error's are visible on the debug window (i'm running it on
debug mode).

i guess the problem is on my box -- 'cause i have this problem on balsa
since 0.8.1 and i still disabled the flock configure option.
