balsa-1.0.1 fails to compile (unicode)

After doing a './configure --enable-gtkhtml' (which went fine) I tried to
compile balsa with no success. Here is the error:

My system is RH Linux 6.2 (zoot) running the latest Helix gnome, with
gtkhtml-0.8.
