repeating messages and spool errors

I am using balsa 0.9.0 First of all is this the latest one?? I downloaded it
about a month ago. I am getting some sort of "can't lock spool....error" Then
even when I delete messages and empty the trash they come back...sometimes it
even downloads them again...any help is appreciated...
