Hmmm....

This is odd... I was only using the Aqua theme (mac osx)... 

It seems to work better now though... My keystrokes weren't drawing over any
pixmaps... it was in a plain white screen.

Sure enough though, if i changbe it back, it goes slow again.....

Very odd... Perhaps I will try downloading a newer version of that theme.
