Hi,
I have just synchronized partially libmutt with mutt-1.2.2. I got it
roughly right on third approach, I was afraid to sync too much and it wasn't easy
to decide what fulfills this criteria. I have tested it for a while and it
seems I haven't broken it too dramatically (I haven't found any broken part).
This will hopefully fix the message updating/deletion problem that plagued
us for quite a long time. mutt makes quite an interesting reading, it's not
an extremely modern code, IMO, but it's definetely not the worst one, I am
sure. It wasn't just written to be a library, that's the reason for some of
our difficulties.
The second part I would like to sync is IMAP code, it will give balsa IMAP
access over SSL and GSS authentication.
I encourage you all (and particularly those of you who experienced mail
deletion/update problems) to try it. It seems to work so far, I tried to do my
best but one never knows...
/Pawel
