I, too use PGP. I had initially thought that I could adjust
the MIME-type preference and feed it through a Perl script that I
wrote some time back to handle PGP manipulation.
Unfortunately, the /tmp/mutt- file related to the PGP mime
component of a message that balsa creates contains the string "Version
1.0" as opposed to the actual PGP encrypted data. I don't know if this
is the correct behaviour, but if balsa can be made to create a temp
file that contains the PGP data, any simple perl/shell/C program can
be called via the appropriate entry in the MIMEtypes table. This is a
stop-gap until such time as balsa has built-in PGP/GPG support, but a
viable one.
	My two coppers worth.

 Hi,
I tried balsa out today and it really looks nice =) I think it's great
that balsa supports so many mailbox styles. But there is one feature that
I really do miss - PGP support. Are you going to implement that sooner or
 later? I'm running version 1.0.pre4.

 Bye,
 	David
