I just built Balsa 1.0pre5 twice -- once with --enable-all and once with
--enable-ldap and tried to get the multiple IMAP folders to work and could
not. I saw the following in an archived email (forgive me for not knowing
who sent it -- my apologies):
-----
I should probably comment in this place on what has been already done on
nested IMAP mailboxes (the code is in CVS). Selecting IMAP folder set on
new
mailbox creation pops up identical message window as for single IMAP
folder.
The Folder path has different interpretation. IF it points to a single
folder, single folder will be added. However, if it points to a dir on IMAP
server, whole directory structure will be scanned (so don't try to set it
to '.'
unless you know what you are doing) and respective mailboxes created. And
-----
The person above says that you can select an "IMAP folder set on new
mailbox creation" but I cannot do this. When I select new mailbox it only
gives me the choice of a Local Mailbox or a Single IMAP Folder. I want to
point to my root IMAP folder and hav eit buidl the folder list like
Netscape does. I love the way Balsa looks and the LDAP support is crucial
for me (and works wonderfully might I add) but I need to be able to work
dynamically with my IMAP folder set. If not I may have to watch Netscrape
crash for a while longer.
IMAP works for me -- just not the folder sets and I have a lot of them.
The product looks great, however, and should I get this working, this will
be a great, great thing.
Thx,
benster (benny.morrison@vistela.com)
