It's normal. anoncvs is a CVS round robin, so any particular update may get
a different server. They aren't all sync'd with the master server at the
same time, so you occasionally see this sort of thing.
Just keep trying until you get an uptodate server..
Some people suggest using "nslookup anoncvs.gnome.org" to find the ip
addresses of all servers, then using nslookup <ip> to find the DNS name and
choosing one close to you and using it in preference to anoncvs.gnome.org
