G'day,
I'm sorry.. I found a bug... or a few. :-(
I composed a message and pasted the subject into the To field by accident and
didn't notice it.
Each time I sent mail out, apparently Balsa tried sending the same message
again, and on failure, it saved the message in the outbox - and kept doubling
itself each time it tried to send the same message.
I wasn't aware there was a mail failure until my admin noticed the attempts in
the mail log. I then went through the Balsa folders until I found the Outbox
folder with it's many messages sitting there - all the same message.
So in addition to it not notifying me of the failure(s) and duplicating the
failure, it also didn't highlight the Outbox - which I've never used or even
noticed until today.
The only thing close to notification was a message box that poped up with
"(null) does not exist" when I sent out other messages - the first time it
only had one such message, the next time (after I sent another unrelated
message out) the box had two lines, the next time 4 lines, etc.
Cheers,
Gaelyne
