I *am* running 1.0.0.  It's the behavior in that release that I'm
describing.  :-)  For example, if I'm in a terminal window, the cursor
will turn from solid to hollow, and my any typing I do while the progress
dialog is displayed is lost.  That's what I mean by the focus changing.

Excellent.  It *is* in there!  Sorry I didn't find it before.
