A question about nested mailboxes

Hi,

as I am still relatively new to balsa
I wonder what nested mailboxes are.

"It is easy as pie" says the website, anotherone
says, that they save him much time, but I don't
know what the general purpose of them should be.

I made a directory gnome and have a mailbox
called balsa in it. So I can move all the balsa list
mails to this folder. Can this also be done automatically ?
