Bug where IMAP folders are displayed n times in tree display --possible cause?

I did some sleuthing on the bug I reported in an earlier mail where an IMAP sub-subfolder is displayed n times (6, in my case), in the tree display in the left-hand pane. It seems that this may be due to the folder name having an embedded space in it! Is this possible?
