you have some lock problems...

i bet your /var/spool/mail doesn't have the correct flags
set as written in the balsa documentation. but i am sure
you already read them so i exclude this beeing the problem...

besides.... mozilla/netscape are different than BALSA.
balsa uses /var/spool/mail for your incomming email but
mozilla/netscape doesn't.
