hello,
some weeks ago we got the nice feature added that let us choose the
appearance of 'Size' or 'Lines' in the index clist. the problem i've
had was a confusion about the phrase 'Size' usually i understand this
as 'Size' in bytes, megabytes, gigabytes etc. but never associate it
with 'Size in Lines' this little patch fixes this confusion, i think
it's better easier to associate 'Lines' with linenumbers and 'Size'
with the actuall size of the message in bytes.
if you choose 'show lines instead of size' in the prefs, then the
phrase 'Size' gets replaced with 'Lines' (also taken care of NLS)
and vice versa.
only missbehave, i was searching for a way to update this phrase
whenever pressing 'Apply' or 'Ok' but i wasn't really successfull
so this setting takes effect whenever you:
a) restart balsa
b) open a new mailbox which node wasn't registered before flag
changed.
this patch was written for balsa CVS with last changelog entry
of 2001-08-09 but should smoothly apply to current CVS. if someone
know howto update this phrase by refreshing the complete indexlist
like the mblist on the left, where you have mailbox, unread, total
(you can toggle this on and off by creating_mblist_new) something
like this then please lemme know so i can enchance this patch.
