Thanks! Didn't do that and it did not have /usr/local/lib there originally. I'll try that.
Also many thanks to everyone else for the suggestions. I had to do some 'real' work :-( all last night so haven't gotten too much further but will hopefully get a chance again to get his working in the next day or so.
