bug with the Message-ID ?

I have a serious problem to send emails with balsa 1.2.3 via smtp:

Balsa is composing the email header (especially the field "Message-ID")
like this:

in balsa:    Message-ID: <3BF223EC.F2514A11@Hugo.comic.net>

It inserts the HOSTNAME of the local maschine; my ISP (compuserve.de)
expects something like that:

Message-ID: <3BF223EC.F2514A11@compuserve.de>

What could be done to change this behavior (netscape inserts the ISP and
I have no problems to send (this) emails).
