Serious Error

I just setup postfix on my machine to handle inbound mail, routing with
procmail to my home directory. I also just signed up for this list with
this local account and when I was creating a balsa-list mailbox in
/home/keith/mail I didn't specify the destination file of 'balsa-list'.
Balsa (1.0.1) gave me an error and when I went into the properties to
change it it wouldn't let me change it (I guess because the file didn't
exist). I then went to my terminal window to touch the new file and there
was no mail directory. Balsa deleted my whole mail directory! I dropped to
single user mode and ran e2fsck on the partition but it didn't find any
errors.
This sucks. Has anyone else had any problem like this?
Keith
