This is a problem with anoncvs. There are three of them for the moment:
anoncvs.gnome.org. has address 142.92.65.13
anoncvs.gnome.org. has address 192.58.206.110
anoncvs.gnome.org. has address 130.239.18.151

and they are sometimes out of sync. Pick one of them by IP number and
stick to it as long as it works and switch to another when you notice
the current server is out of date (but you could notify the
administrator as well in this case).
