Carlos (the maker of the rpms) has pointed out that the binary rpm was made
on a Red Hat 6.2 machine, so if you are running something later, rpm won't
resolve the dependency. The best solution (which I just tried - thanks,
Carlos) is to download the source rpm and rebuild it for your individual
machine.

By the way, the current version of libESMTP is 0.8.3, which solves some
rather significant problems. There's a source rpm of that version on
Carlos' ftp site.
