hi,
well i think the reason why they didn't went in right now is because people
that have access to the CVS server haven't much time because of their private
other work they do but i can't speak for them.
i personally like your patches, sometimes little confusing to apply always
did fine after some explaination. i preferabely like the new toolbar prefs,
since i can get so much out of it

i saw a lot of patches posted on the mailinglist the past weeks some got
slowly applied to the CVS branch already.

yeah too many patches floating around are kinda *uncontrolable* i really
suggest they give you CVS access, so you can commit patches of your own,
i for my side have no problem with that. since i see myself that balsa
development goes on totally *slow* compared to other gnome projects. to
say 'kinda different'.

maybe you gonna ask 'pavlov' on irc.gnome.org #gnome dont know if he is around
really often but he is the old original programmer of balsa and afaik he is the
person who you need to talk too.
http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/balsa-list
you find his email address on the bottom of the mailinglist. maybe you ask him
to give you access to the CVS if you tell him the reason. i talked a bit with
pavlov the past week (after we opened #balsa again) he seem to be a friendly
nice person and i think the access to CVS wouldn't be the problem since your
ideas and patches makes sense.
at least you can count on me everytime you need someone to test your patches.
