wrap problem

hi,

i noticed a problem when composing messages and
the line WRAP. i have wrap disabled in the preferences,
and the spinbox after that is set to 80.

when i deselect the box (wrap enabled) then i think that
the spinbox afterwards shouldn't take affect but why do
the text that i sent still get wrapped ?

its weird and annoying .. any ideas ?
