Message-ID: is supposed to uniquely identify a message - see RFC 2822. It is
possible to receive a message by two different routes. In theory the body
will be the same (not withstanding virus scanners and M$ Exchange's bizzarre
charset handling) but the headers will be different - the Received: headers
trace each route to the destination, others may differ too but the Message-ID
should be identical.
