I haven't seen it yet--but I saw it only rarely with gtk+-1, so that 
doesn't prove anything. GtkCTree is, of course, deprecated in gtk+-2, 
so it will be replaced in due course.

Personally, I'm quite convinced that Balsa uses the GtkCTree/GtkCList 
API correctly, so the problem can only be described as a GtkBug.
