Another proposal:

I would really like a better reply-behavior.
Because:
1) If a line is longer than the 75 points (or whatever you set it up) it 
wraps the line and puts a > in front of this...
This confuses every single mail with cite-highlighting ('cause of the 
missing > -> just look above "develop this")

2) It would be cool if you could configure the reply in a more general way 
(ie you can put the sender, the date, the text... whereever you want) 
(like you can do in sylpheed)

3) perhaps a very nice feature: cutting the sig (after "-- ") on reply 
(sylpheed and moz can do this!)

4) Balsa tries to guess the language of the reply, so everytime I reply to 
7-bit ASCII-msgs, I get brazilian (iso-8859-1)-perhaps not that correct, 
or?-Shouldn't it use the default in cases like that?
