Just committed to cvs HEAD: Mailbox => _Remove Duplicates.
This new entry on the Mailbox menu finds all messages with duplicated
message-ids, and removes all but one. If any of the duplicates has the
`replied' flag set, that one is kept.
If like me you're a little leery of tools that go around removing
messages:
- *uncheck* hide-deleted, and the new tool will expand threads to
expose every message it removes, so you can make sure you really want
to remove them before committing the changes.
- If you have hide-deleted *checked*, it simply removes them with no
expanding or collapsing (other than those triggered by any required
rethreading).
Enjoy!
Peter
