Exactly. The option is
keyserver-options auto-key-retrieve [more options, e.g. honor-http-proxy]
I disabled it as each time hitting an unknown signature, my box would dial
in automatically (isdn), but I don't have German Telekom shares ;-))
Sorry, I'm so used to reading the gpg[me] man pages that I didn't mention
it before...
