But I have had a look in the gconf keys with: Applications -> System tools -> Gconf editor Then I had a look in the following key: desktop/gnome/application/browser/ There is a key there called exec with text type and the contents is "sensible browser"It's most likely problem with GConf schema. You have to change it from the command line explicitely stating "string" type, eg:gconftool-2 -s -t string /desktop/gnome/application/browser/ 'mozilla "%s"'
I tried (without the leading slash) but the behaviour is still the same.
