mail addresses truncated

There's a problem since a few revisions of Balsa-2.2 that makes mail  
addresses truncated:

Example: An address of type "mr pee  isn dare" is automatically renamed  
to "mr pee isn dare" (mind the dot!).

I don't know if this kind of address is technically allowed, but a  
friend of mine *does* have such an address and of course some-one other  
has an address my mail was actually send to as I found out later :-(.
