There is a gmime bug which *sometimes* modifies the headers (adding or  
removing double quotes) before passing the signed stuff into gpg(me), thus  
triggering the "invalid signature" error. Jeff knows about it and works on  
a solution, but afaik even the current cvs is still broken...
