Aaargh! The action I took (described below) appears to have
overwritten the old /var/mail/rlh file without asking permission! This
should NOT happen; Balsa should have APPENDED to the file!

I'm running Debian "unstable" with the Gnome desktop. I just
executed "aptitude dist-upgrade", which leaves me running balsa
2.0.17.
In the process of the upgrade, the Inbox was re-set to /var/spool/
mail/rlh/ ; before the upgrade, the Inbox was /var/mail/rlh/ .
By right-clicking on "Inbox" and selecting properties, I opened the
"Mailbox configurator" dialogue box, changed the path, and clicked
the UPGRADE button. But the roughly 250 messages (all of which have
been read) no longer are displayed in the Inbox. How can I access
these messages?
